Dr Michele Forsythe, founder of DSI, has a passion for teaching and an infectious excitement for Science and Engineering.

Earl Brooks is one of our first teachers. He enjoys teaching and mentoring Science Fair. Here he is helping students apply the scientific method to their independent research projects.

Thomas Meeks is our 3D Design and Printing expert. He has a passion for serving at risk and non-neurotypic students. It is about building resiliency, perseverance and pride to empower students to change their life trajectory.

Raee is one of Teen Mentors

Ange Goueti teaches The Science of Art, Programming and Robotics, and Math courses for DSI. He has a wonderful rapport with the students and facilitates dynamic discussions to provide a deep understanding.

ABOUT US 

Discover STEAM Inc. is an innovative education 501(c)(3) nonprofit company.  Discover STEAM provides engaging curricula to students pre-K through 12th grade, with hands-on learning activities in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) fields. We pride ourselves on being able to present complex concepts in easy to understand ways, several of our workshops provide students access to advanced equipment. Our workshops and classes are designed to promote discussion and discovery among participants.

OUR VISION: For all children to be nurtured in communities that foster curiosity, collaboration, confidence, stewardship, and self-directed exploration to become 21st century innovators and problem solvers.

      

OUR MISSION: To provide engaging STEAM activities to all youth with a focus on providing first time exposures to preK through 8th grade and promoting college and career interests in STEAM for 9 - 12 grade students.
