During the fall we had participants meet up at the local stream, where we collected water & sediment samples. We then walked over to The Rockville Science Center's new store front space and used microscopes from DSI's Equipment Loaner Program to exam microscopic aquatic life! Each participant had their own microscope and received instruction on how to use it and help identifying their specimens as part of the workshop. It was an exciting experience and received great reviews!
